Patient Name:  Coral Eldred

I am a 47 year old knee patient that started with another physical therapist that, in my opinion, didn't help me with, what started to be a knee infection and may have aggravated my condition more.

It started as an infection that localized itself in my knee causing a series of domino effects to my physical condition.  Before this, I was very active, playing beach volleyball and running 2-3 miles a day.  After coming back from vacation and playing in a volleyball tournament the infection began and it took 2 1/2 weeks before they found out it was a strep B infection that had to be treated with a strong antibiotic for 30 days, of which 11 of those days were spent in the hospital.  The pain was horrible, I couldn't eat, lost too  much weight, and my red blood cell count started to drop.  After the hospital stay I continued the antibiotics and ate healthy.  I had no energy and my muscle tone was gone.

After about 3 months or so I was fed up with the therapist I had and was fed up with the therapist I had and was referred to Tim McCauley by a friend of mine because I had complained that I always hurt after therapy and was on constant pain medication.  The very first day, after meeting with Tim, I finally had hope to regain most of my range of motion where the doctor, as well as the therapist had given up and said I would not be able to run or play volleyball.

About a year went by with Tim as he continued to work the scar tissue in my knee to strengthen my muscles, I under went another surgery with a different doctor that Tim recommended.  He spent a long time cleaning out the mess that was in my knee.  This time the method of recovery was totally different.  A day after surgery, Tim began working on my knee again.  Now, I can ride my bike without compensating with my back, go down stairs normally, I can go for short runs, and even run in the sand.  It is great.  I still have some work to do, but at least the light at the end of the tunnell is soooo much closer and I feel normal again.

Tim McCauley has been the greatest ever and he and his office staff have been very supportive.

Thank you for everything! You are the Best!

I have been treated by Tim McCauley, Advanced Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Physical Therapy, for the past year.  He has treated my spine, both lumbar and cervical, and more recently my shoulder (pre & post-surgery) and my severly sprained ankle.  I have total confidence in his care.

Tim is very well educated.  He is fast and accurate in his ability to diagnose.  His treatment is highly effective.  He has great pride in his work.  He will focus on the current problem and give advice on preventive measures.  He has a warm bedside manner and a terrific staff to support his efforts.  While his practice is very busy, he makes himself available when one is in need.

Throughout the last twenty or so years, I have been treated by many nationally renown doctors and therapists and tried and failed their many modalities.  I have tremendous success with Tim and trust him to the "bone!"

Hi,
I am writing this letter to tell everyone how great Tim McCauley has been to me and how positive the entire experience has been.
He helped me get back my range of motion two times.  Also he has helped me discover a problem with my left knee that not even the first MRI found!  He also has helped me and explains the entire surgery process.
Making me feel comfortable with the entire experience of surgery. He also helped me with my strength training.
Simply put he has been a miracle for my left knee. He is kind, experienced, and knowledgeable.
Without him I don't know if I could have even followed the whole procedure through.  Thanks Tim!
Sincerely,
Jim Chizmar
